Although formally educated and trained as a Geophysicist in Tbilisi, Georgia, Keti always had a love of fashion and sewing.  She immigrated to the United States in 1991 and settled in New York City.  She soon began selling her designs to local boutiques in the Forest Hills neighborhood.  She then established herself as a custom clothier while completing her degree in Patternmaking at the Fashion Institute of Technology.  Following graduation, she worked in a range of roles including freelance designer, fit model, patternmaker, technical design manager for companies such as Anne Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Tahari, Adrianna Papell, and Joe Fresh.  During this time, she frequently traveled to overseas factories to conduct fittings, to train representatives in craftsmanship and garment construction, as well as to troubleshoot production problems.

Keti relocated to Denver, Colorado, with her husband in 2015 for a change of pace and to enjoy all Colorado has to offer.  In Denver, Keti consults and advises fashion startups on a wide range of issues and also offers individual instruction in sketching, draping, and patternmaking, both at her office and also at the Denver Design Incubator (DDI).

Keti is considered one of the industry’s unique talents. Not only can she draw beautiful fashion illustrations, but she also brings a wealth of technical construction knowledge and industry expertise to transform such illustrations to finished products.  She has a deep knowledge of different body types and creates perfectly fitted, well-constructed and comfortable garments in range of high quality fabrics.
